Kaskelot

Seen here with Redness point in the background, Kaskelot has starred in many films including Cutthroat Island and A Restpectable Trade. At 47.25m, it is the largest of the ships and currently rigged as a three masted barque from about 1860, although she was actually built in 1948 for the Royal Greenland Trading company.

 

Earl of Pembroke

Rigged as a 3 masted barque and shown passing North Pier Lighthouse, this ship was built in Sweden and originally cargoed timber between the Baltic and the UK. Since appearing in Cutthroat island she has also had roles in Moll Flanders, Frenchman's Creek and The Count of Monte Cristo.

Phoenix

Also built in Denmark last century , the Phoenix  has visited both Whitehaven Maritime Festivals. Now rigged as a Brig from the 1700's and appearing in films such as Random Passage and Shaka Zulu: the Citadel she originally appeared as the Santa Maria in 1492: Conquest of Paradise.
