| The 20th of December saw the harbour given over to a Laser light spectacular. Four shows at 5,6,7 and 8 o'clock lit up the harbour area in front of the C2C start point between Sugar Tongue and Lime Tongue. |
| In between shows various Christmas symbols and the logos of the sponsors were shone onto various buildings around the harbour and a fan shaped fountain of water in front of the slipway. |
| Then on the hour the harbour was filled with smoke and large 3D patterns were created by the lasers across the surface of the water to the accompaniment of a wide range of music from Robbie and Kylie to classical pieces. |
| The final show was even more spectacular as the laser beams dancing to the music were punctuated by a colourful firework display. |
