| The buildings on the Sugar Tongue that supported the fishing industry have been demolished. These were old dilapidated buildings with corrugated roofing which had become somewhat of an eyesore. New fish handling facilities are being made on the North side of the harbour including an ice factory. The sugar tongue will be surfaced with attractive new paving as part of the harbour re-development. | |
